Hi there! I'm Jazz, proud owner and manager of JAZZWA Cleaning.
Despite my background in many industries such as Landscape gardening, retail, sales & hospitality I was always known lovingly as "The cleaner". That extra clean sparkle in the lunch room and the 5* hygiene in hospitality was me! And after spending over 10 years in those industries, talking about this business idea to colleagues and friends and feeling stuck in that mud of employment I decided IT WAS TIME to go it alone.
I officially left my contracted work in the February of 2020 to pursue this small business venture with a small sum of savings... little did we know a mere month later the world was locked down!
Strange time to start a cleaning business... or a perfect time?... I think it turned out to be perfect!
Despite the challenges faced by small businesses globally, we successfully took our first client as JAZZWA Cleaning in July 2020 with determination and resilience (and a whole heap of extra PPE!).
We are immensely grateful for the support of our community, whose word-of-mouth recommendations have helped us grow since those strange masked days. We wouldn't exist without your help.
As a self professed eco nerd I absolutely wanted this to be a structural pillar of this business and thus committed to only using eco friendly natural based products. There's a time and a place for harsh chemicals but we don't need harsh chemicals to make things sparkle!

There's no point committing to eco friendly cleaners if your tools don't have the same ethos. At my own home I'm often choosing natural based materials and living as plastic free as possible. So I drew that through into the JAZZWA Cleaning brand too. I personally select tools as plastic-free as possible to minimise our environmental footprint. It can sometimes be tricky and we can't rule out every single morsel, but I love the challenge.
By incorporating our natural-based cleaners and sustainable practices, we aim to lead the way in creating safer and healthier spaces for our clients and for our planet. In 2024 we also took the step to becoming a supplier of our favourite cleaning products to our clients, family and friends to further help change homes to eco homes of the future!
